Enjoy shopping in the markets of Senegal!   During your stay in Senegal you will enjoy comfortable living arrangements and delicious food. Excursions are planned to visit Joal and Fadhiouth, home of the Sere people. Fadhiouth is a traditional village by the ocean full of sea shells and enchantment.

Senegal Tour Group    We will retrace the path of the slave trade and witness the haunting vision of the "door of no return" on the Island of Goree. Finally, we will visit the country of Gambia and also travel to the beautiful and lush area of Senegal, called Casamance.
   Sister Fatou and her family are very hospitable and resourceful; they go a long way to make their guests feel comfortable, welcomed and special!

Traveler Tips

Plan to have all required shots and your passport at least 4-6 weeks prior to date of departure:

  • A passport is required for travel to Senegal and should be kept on your person at all times
  • Some immunization shots are required.

  • Travelers can use VISA and/or MasterCard to get cash by presenting their credit card at any local financial institution sponsoring their card.
  • Pack a strong mosquito repellent, and sunscreen with high UV protection, sunglasses and hats
  • Bring a good supply of toilet paper
  • Flip flops are recommended for bathroom use
  • Antibacterial wipes are helpful
